By:Learning by doing.Learning through mistakes.Learning through each other.Asking questions & trying things out. How?!!To listen to young people.Encourage young people to know that they can create a better world.Enable young people to develop knowledge, abilities & personal skills.Learning about working in team citizens explores their power to effect change. Young AdvocatesWhat are they doing?Help to facilitate other young peoples projects in their area & work. What makes Change makers different to any other foundations?It is special because:Help young people to lead the action.Adult are there to facilitate & support the learning. Our Target AgeYoung people 15 – 20 years Adult 22- 30 years Our Proposed ProjectsHomelessness ( street boys )Lobbing ( local council for improving youth facilities & community projects.)Active citizen ( In schools { A.C.I.S } pilot programs in few schools or development of active citizenship outside of lesson time.) Scholars Citizenship Activation Could Happen Through:Events & Workshops to learn through action in schools.Chance to speak & express themselves.Teamwork spirit & attitude.Decision making & Initiating thinking.
